A Conflict

What is a conflict? A “conflict” is something that occurs when a plugin or some plugins (most likely one plugin) and a theme are incompatible with one another.

What Should I Do

In short

  • Disable all your plugins, instead of theme’s ones (required plugins for your theme)
  • Activate default wordpress theme, e.g. TwentySixteen theme
  • Check if the conflict is still there
    • If so, there is an incompatibility somewhere in your plugin – simply deactivate that plugin
    • If not, there is an incompatibility with a theme – please make a request on our support forum or make a request at jaw[at]jawtemplates[dot]com. And we will look on it ASAP for you. Thank you.

For more detailed please follow next

We recommend you do these steps

  1. First of all, please go to admin dashboard->plugins and turn all the 3rd party plugins off instead of theme’s. This can save and probably make your day. Because lots of 3rd party plugins can be incompatible with themes. So we recommend doing this step first!

    After you finally deactivated all 3rd party plugins, just go back to your frontend and check if your issue still persists. If so, please go to next step.
  2. If the first step was unsuccessful, please go to your wordpress root path and open file wp-config.php

    For more info, please follow this link
    Here we need turn the debug mode on. Please find this code
     define('WP_DEBUG',false);

    and type

     "true"

    just like this

    define('WP_DEBUG',true);

    and on a new line add this

    error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', 1);

    just for sure. After you did this step, just go back to your frontend and check some warning or error messages. If you are not able to see some warning or error messages and the issue still persists, please go to next step.
    wpdeb

  3. If you were unsuccessfull in previous steps, please make a request on our support forum or make a request at jaw[at]jawtemplates[dot]com. And we will look on it ASAP for you. Thank you.
