Color Schemes

We are going to show you how to set a color scheme through some examples from basic to advanced.

A color scheme contains 13 colors. You can find their meaning on our support web.

We know, it’s a quite new stuff but you will love it!

You are able to add, edit, clone and remove these color schemes acording to your liking. Do not forget that you can create infinite color schemes 😉

Also you can assign any color scheme to any part of the theme, like category, header, footer and other.

All you need to do is practise, practise and practise. We are pretty sure that you will realize sooner or later that these color schemes are the strongest tool to make your site awesome!!!

Also we highly recommend you follow our Video Tutorials.

Basic Setting

Let’s say, we want to set 2 categories, e.g. Sport and News with few posts (how to create a post).

So, we are going to create some color schemes and use them for the Header, Main Page, Footer and Category.

  1. We create these color schemes
    • Main
    • Menu/Footer
    • News
      clrprst
  2. After we created these color schemes, we can scroll a little bit up and we will see Main Color Scheme. This will be used for the whole sites (globally). BUT we want to use another colors for our Menu. So we have to go to Header Settings->Menu->Color Scheme and set our color scheme called Menu/Footer.clrprst2
  3. Then we want to assign the same menu color  for footer. So we have to go to Footer settings->Footer Color Schemeclrprst3
  4. Here is the result of our work 🙂
    custom_clr_prs
  5. Now we want to change color of the News category (Posts->Categories). So we have to go to the Category Settings and edit the News categorycategorynews
  6. Then we can simply set Color scheme to the News schemecategorynewsedit
  7. Here is the result of our work 🙂

As you can see, we assigned the News scheme to the category. Also you can notice that the color of category in menu item changed its main color and with this progress we can assign each scheme to each category or page of the theme. Do you see theirs power? The power of  the color schemes? 🙂

Advanced Setting

If you did not find our previous part of the basic tutorial of color schemes much helpful we highly recommend you follow our video tutorials of RevoComposer II.
