Trying to update to 2.2

To whom it may concern
I am trying to update GDN to 2.2. I went on themeforest and downloaded zip, unpacked, overwrite the existing files, it keeps showing me 2.1. So i assume files on themeforest are still 2.1? The Envato Toolkit is not working either. It shows that there's an update but is not download anything and i get a blank page when i click on auto update.
