JaW Templates Support Forum

I'm trying to ad the social links under the recent posts widget like in the preview for this theme.  When I ad my Facebook ID everything is fine, the icon appears like in your preview.  When I add my Twitter id everyone directly below the menu - the slider and the recent posts widget - completely vanishes.  The widget asks for the id and I put the Twitter ID in.   What am i doing wrong or how can I correct this.  Better yet, is there a better way to add these social links?  I tried the short-code suggestion in a text book and all I got was short code printed under the recent posts widget.
