How can I add in ups shipping on some items and flat rate shipping on others

I looked at the ups add on for woo commerce and it said that all of the items in the cart would have to be shipped with that same method. I only have 2 items right now that I'm trying to send ups based on weight and size and the others are flat rate products. Please advise. Thanks
