Change the size of the 170x187 images

Some images displayed on the woocommerce shop page are not cropped or sized correctly. All images have size 170x187 but for some images this not a good size. Is there a way to change the size in which the images or displayed?
For instance on the homepage you have this image:
but the image should be wider so that the whole width of the picture is displayed.
How can I change the size so that these picture are correclty displayed?
