Category pages to show products grouped by sub-categories.

Right now, the category pages displays all products without any grouping. Instead, I would like to display the products grouped by sub-category.
If I select the display option as both for each category, then it shows the list of sub-categories on top and then the list of all products below without grouping.
Please help.
