Caption on featured images?

HiIs it possible to enable caption on featured image? And if not: Can you please give me a code snipped or something to make it happen?Because in many countries you have to write the copyright owner next to the image and this does include featured images. This is really important to me and I am sure there are a lot of other people out there who would be thankfully for this.Thank you.
