Facebook Comments counter display issue

I saw this in another post but no resolution was listed. With Facebook comments enabled I get a duplicate counter and it's layout is messed up. Seen here...
Is there a way to fix this? I'd like to have the comment count at the top removed completely when FB comments are on if that is possible.
