Search Results Blank Until Tab is Clicked

I'm in the processing of setting up a GoodStore themed system. Per the instructions here: http://support.jawtemplates.com/goodstore/web/?p=271, I set the search to find products only. However, when I search for a product the results are not shown. To get the results of the search you have to click the "Products" tab.How do I get the search results to appear right after the search is made? Having to click the "Products" tab is not sensible and not obvious. I didn't even know this was necessary for several tests.Thank you,Scott
