Translate WPML Problem

I need to translate some part of template (for example Username / Remember Me etc) but i have some problem. I use WPML plugin (pro) and i try to search this string on WPML String Translation i've not found.On WPML>Localization of the theme and plugin i try to select "Translate with WPML" but never save my select. So i must work with file .PO. Then i go to search the file .PO and with default setting WPML not found your file .PO. I must change folder and the find but if i try to search an other one the string...i've not found...so i can't translate this string form english to italian and other language.Have some problem / error with theme?Thanks
