Error when trying to change theme options

We are trying to change theme options, but keep getting this error message:
The css folder "/home/orderall/public_html/wp-content/themes/goodstore/css" is not writeable.The css file "/home/orderall/public_html/wp-content/themes/goodstore/css/custom-styles.css" is not writeable.
We've changed the folder permissions to 775 (and also tried 777) for the /css folder, but it has not fixed the error.
There is also no file within the css folder named custom-styles.css
