Theme comes across okay but once I try to activate plugins Wordpress locks up - i.e. nothing will load

Using Wordpress 4.2.2

I have gone through the process multiple times of installing plugins one by one. Can't seem to find which one specifically but it does seem to happen mainly when activating Woocommerce

This is a fresh install of Wordpress and I have now reinstalled 3 times to check if that was the issue

I have also deleted and re-setup the SQL database 3 times at least.

Can't seem to get past this hurdle

I have 3 other installations of Wordpress on my server on subdomains, 1 of which runs Woocommerce and have had no problems with any of them.

So not sure what the issue is.

Any ideas?
