Problems Resizing Images

Need help with resizing images. I have used every example on the blog. I tried the simple image plugin, changed the child theme, used CSS and the images will not reduce in size. I am pulling images off of Amazon. Some of them show up small and some show up large. I want them the same size. Right now I only have the large size images loaded on the site. Please help.
