Hi, I know that this is not related with the theme, also searched some posts on the web but didn´t find a clear solution that worked.

Inside subcategories or products pages, I would like to make a link to parent category on the sidebar inside a text widget plugin that allows php inside (even better was inside a custom menu link if possible). Kind of breadcrumbs but just the previous category link.

I just need it on the custom post type=product and taxonomy = product_cat. Posts and pages can be excluded if necessary.

Could you please give a help on the code snippet for this?
