Styling options not working

  • several settings in the styling options do not work. I am trying to change the sub menu colors but they do not work. The menu background works but the link and active link colors never change. I have changed file permissions and deleted custom-styles-xxx files but it still doesnt work
    Its not a cache issue as other settings change immediately
