That's a little strange, but I found a way to work around now, avoiding the category page. You mentioned that othe users had the same problem, so please check s´this for the next update. Thanks for trying to help.

Product stacks with stock administration
The products on sale are sold in mentioned stacks of copies. So it would be great to have the option ordering 50, 100, 150, 200 and 500, instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, .... and it's not possible to combine a product variation with the store stocks.
