Product stacks with stock administration

I need to set up single products, that can be ordered in stacks of 50,100,150,200 and 500.
Normally I'd create a variable product, but also need to connect to stock administration,
so the mentioned nubers get deducted from the stock.
with the numbers ordered. Is this possible?
