I cant get the hamburger menu to work

I've set it up. It's visible. But nothing happens when i click on it in mobile? Maybe i'm not clear as to how to set up the nav for the hamburger menu? I can't find any documentation. I just want it to show the same menu options as desktop. I would like to know if I could set up different menus for mobile vs. desktop.Thank you!
