How do I add a header background image?

Hi - I'm currently using the "full-width" style with "wide version" switched to "on". I'd like to use an image as a background instead of just a block colour.The only way I've found thus far is to use WP's standard "Customise" UI under the "Appearance" menu. However, this only applies the background to the central column whereas I need it to span the whole width of the page. As well as this, it makes the image run underneath the menu bar and into the page body, which isn't ideal.So, is there a way to use an image as a header background? Maybe with custom CSS, if not in the main GoodStore UI.
