hide sale badge per user role

Hi,
I'm using dynamic pricing plugin to make a distinction between a regular customer and retail customer. The retailer views a price with percentage discount. When logged in all products are viewed with a sale badge displayed. I would like to view only the products which are actually on sale and not because a person is logged in and gets a percentage discount.
Can you give me some advice on how I could adjust this? I recon a filter through the functions.php?
