Empty 'Presents' in RevoComposer

Per the tutorial, there are supposed to be some presets template in revocomposer, but on my console, it is empty. Where can I get these preset templates?Also, how do I create a homepage like the sample homepage here:is it through the use of creating a page that looks like that, and then selecting that page as a static page for the homepage?
