How can I control the color for links in top-bar?

I tried to figure this out but it didn't work for me. I used the following Custom CSS Code but it changed all the other links too. I just want to change the color of links in the top bar:a, .widget_calendar table td#prev a, .widget_calendar table td#next a {color: tomato;}I love that the footer has a built in ability to change this color in Theme Options. The top bar I will need a little help.
