REVOILUTION SLIDER NOT WORKING

The Revolution slider does not see the templates created in the rev slider control panel.I can't then insert any images or slideshow into the slider....here is the message in the sliderRevolution Slider Error: Slider with alias REV-1 not found.
Maybe you mean: 'slider3'In this instance there is a slider3 which i created but it is not available in the drop down box...Help.....Thanks!
