Reviews tab - Not updating amount of reviews

We're using a third party plugin for our reviews (it supports social media integration). However something strange is happening, on the 'reviews' tab the amount displayed isn't updating. Preferably we'd like to display the amount between () or if that's not possible no amount at all. Is this easily doable?
