how to get shipping calculator droplist to be similar to default woocommerce

Hi if you see the states droplist in the checkout form, it is different from the shipping calculator which is styled by the theme.However I will prefer the original version, as it has a search options for people to be able to type to filter.So how can I get rid of the styling on the shipping calculator states droplist to revert back as per check out form?
