Revo composer -> blog page (not updating)

We have a page where all our blog entries are located, it uses the Big Blog element from the REVO composer. The problem is, this element does not update itself to reflect the front end. Meaning: i can make changes in the backend and view them in live mode, but after publication these changes are not reflected on the front end. If I add a new element to this page, it will be updated and displayed on the front end. But ANY changes on the Big Blog / Classic Blog elements are not saved into the front end.What's happening?
