Sidebar issues

1. can you only assign 3 sidebars?
no matter what I do changes to category sidebars take no affect & it defaults back to settings assigned here;
I attempt to assign further sidebars via the product category pages but changes take no effect?
2. The Woocommerce widget layered nav does not seem to work
yet I have numerous products set up with attributes assigned see here;
What am I doing worng?
