Category page - sorting menu

So, I have several category pages with very few products on them (maybe 2 - 5). But by default, all products are displayed with the text "Showing all 2 results" and the sorting bar on the right. I'm looking for a way to disable this when there are less then xxx products on a page as it's redundant.
