WPML language selector isn't showing up

Hello,We've installed WPML but the WPML language selector isn't showing up. Strange: it is however showing up in the WP admin area in the WP admin menubar but once placed in one of the Flyingnews theme footers (as a language selector widget that comes with WPML), it is invisible. What could be wrong ?
