Featured product not appearing

I've tried to set one of the product as a star for it to display as featured product under homepage, but was not able to do so.Is there additional setting?I've only have one showing up in this section, but I manage to remove one of the feature by unstarring. But setting up another product by starring it, doesnt work. Pls help.
