moving site, cannot see content on pages

I have taken over a website setup by a previous developer. They purchased your theme GoodStore back in 2014.
We have a site up and running with the theme.
We are trying to make a copy of the site, and make some customization to the theme and put it up as a second website.
When I moved everything over to the 2nd domain, none of the content is showing on the website,.
I simply exported the database, updated from the old url to the new url.
I copied all the files via ftp, making the appropriate changes via the config file.
Can you help? Thank you for your time.
