Woocomerce - add a note

I'm not sure what went wrong but i was able to add order/customer notes just fine till about a week ago and now i type in the note and click "add note" it simply takes me up to the top of the screen without adding the note.i updated all plugins. can you help?i went to woocomerce support but couldn't find any answers.
