Theme Colors not taking effect

Hi, under Appearance->Theme -> "Template Color Settings" i selected the Pink colour and click Save.The success message" Options Updated" shows, but none of the colours on the site are changing.The Top Bar should be pink, but it is still the default Blue.i tried from Chrome and IE.can you advise?thanks!
