blurry thumbnails on product page

Hi. Finally got everything sized properly - took a long time. But now, thumbnails are blurry. Have them set at 90x90. Image info shows them at that as well. I right click on the image and the 90x90 looks clear - but not within the product page. Any thoughts here? Have read everything on forum and theme discussion - don't seem to find any answers.
