IE and Firefox display issues

Hi There
We have built our site and used the jawtemplate theme and it only displays correctly in Google Chrome
In IE and Firefox the portfolio pages are frozen with a
grain overlaying it, I can’t read the text and you can’t change the images. SEE
attached screen shot. PLEASE HELP! I need to make this website live. I am not a coder so had some help changing some things, so don't really know how to add anything in the code for it to work?Thanks Genna
