Latest Update Huge problem!

Hello, we installed the latest update 2.0.
We were using the child for all our changes of course.
After the update, the whole site seems to have collapsed. Most of the widgets are gone, no sidebars in the widgets menu anymore (and our site was using sitebars A lot!)
What has happened?
We had updated the theme before, but all our changes were saved since we were using the child theme for all our modifications.
