GDN theme not working well

I have hit a road block since yesterday. I cannot make any changes in theme options as whenever I choose to save the changes in theme options, it shows an error and my website's colour settings change randomly and automatically.It says please choose main colour scheme. but its a bug coz I have tried everything but the problem persists. In fact even when I click on 'save options' without making any changes, it shows the same error.Background: I have been making all the changes and updates to the parent theme only and did not create any child theme.I realised the mistake and tried to reinstall the theme but all the settings are still there. I tried to remove it from cpanel as well but nothing changes.Please help.
