I just got a notice from my web hosting company that they are switching to php 8.2 and that my website which runs Goodstore will not support this new version of php. Are there any plans to release an update that will allow Good store to work with this new version of php or any workarounds? I really like this theme and it still runs and looks great so I don't really want to change to a different theme.

Maybe it was asked a hundred times, however I haven't find a solution yet :( so, I want my products - including thumbnails etc, - to be displayed without being cropped or stretched - keeping their original proportions - I'm working on a webpage that deals with books, magazines etc. so it looks kind of bad when a cover is cropped while the other isn't. I don't really know what would be the best solution. I think the best would be if the covers would keep their original proportions while the boxes would be the same size.

- the price sorting function doesn't sort in the right way

I recently installed the GoodStore theme on HomePage 1 - My Blog (mydoggywear.com) All the demos don't install properly to look like a complete website, instead there are missing images and the page is fragmented, with no Slider revolution.

Slider Revolution Issue with Category

We just updated the slider revolution and bought a year subscription, and when we go to the product category, it isn't working properly and we aren't able to change anything on the category or save it. Have you seen this issue before?

When we deactivate the plugin (Slider Revolution) then editing the product category functions properly.

Accordion and Tabs not possible to change

Hi,

I used this theme before the looong inactivity of the developer and now I finally could update the theme with this last update. However, many things seem not work properly. Maybe because of the update, maybe because of other problems of the theme, I don't know ...

For now I found out that Accordions and Tables are not possible to update (the content). If I try to change ti with Revo composer, there is nothing to change in the Settings . There are some elements of Content 1, COntent 2 ... but nothing to change here. If I try to change it with Text composer, then after actualize, all design of the page is messed up. If I look at the Live preview, nothing is showed, the element just closes back.

So, what should I do to change it?

Hi, I found out that images in gallery reached from Revo composer doesn't show any images if I want to edit the gallery nor any possibility to remove the images form the gallery. This appears on at least two elements - I found it in Photo slider and Image. Is it possible to do something with it?

Hiding the WooCommerce category description

Hello,

I have added product descriptions for the purpose of SEO of my shop but I don't want to display them on the Categoryies pages.

Which is the best way to hide it:

CSS code in the child theme
PHP code in the chilid theme
CSS code in the Custom code of the Theme options
CSS in the Customize area of each page

I have attempted few of the above but without success. Could you please provide me some ideas and suggestion about the code I need to input.

- FAQ and Review have disappeared

All OK - just question : Is it possible to show in eshop sub-menu only categories with some products in the category? In other words the client wants to hide empty categories (her eshop products are very dynamically changing ...:-)

Essential Grid causing interference with WooCommerce add/edit products functionalities

Hello JaW Templates Team,

I recently identified a problem related to edit or publish new products with WooCommerce which seems to be caused by the Essential Grid plugin. Here are few of the symptoms:

When I open an existing product the description and short description fields appear to be empty. It is only when I switch to the text editor that I am shown the content. Upon switching back to the visual editor I see the content appear
When a new product is created the description area is not editable, I need to a switch to text editor to 'enable' it but when new content is added it does not seem to be retained by the 'Save' option
I am unable to modify the permanent link - the edit button just does not react
Adding new Product category from the 'Product category' section within the product is not reacting
Editing the published status is not possible (buttons seem to be inactive)

Upon debugging I have identified that when the Essential Grid plugin is switched off the problem seems to be gone. Could you please check and eventually fix this? I am unsure when this issue happened for the first time as I am rarelly adding / editing products.

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the GoodStore theme. It seems as though the search barely works and does not search properly for product names, SKUs, or information.

Here is some screenshots of what I'm referring to:

As you can see, the first link is searching for the term "gothic" which should show results for the product which is in the second link (as the title of that product contains "gothic"). However, no results are shown. This is a theme issue because if we activate the Twenty Twenty theme, the result shows. We have also disabled all the plugins on the website. This issue persists with all products across the site.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

WP updated my site to 5.3.3 and widgets and menu items are not working properly

Hi, updated to the latest wordpress and my arrows and menus are not working in the dashboard. I figured it was a conflict with the theme, so updated to the latest Goodstore theme 5.5, but it seems to be still having the same issues.

Wondering if updating the theme also updates the JAW included plugins, which I think is the issue or would I need to also update those? If so, could you point me in the right direction to do that, I didn't see a way to do it

GoodStore Update To Version 5.3 Has Problems

Hi,

I updated the theme to 5.3. These are my issues:

The theme options panel is not showing anything - its blank. I can't access any of the theme options to make changes.
When I am logged in the colors on the site are wrong and the font doesn't resemble LATO at all.
I cannot update to php 7.3 or 7.4 - the site admin area breaks and I can't get into the backend of the site -- I am running on php 7.0. that's as high as I could go.
Then I tried to create a user / pw for your support but the user area where you enter a pw is broken.

I have pulled the backup file which has a lower theme and wordpress version.

Please advise how to fix this.

Hello,

After recent update of the GoodStore Theme I am unable to use the Theme Options - once I reach the section I see no details displayed in there and clicking on any of the sub-sections (General Settings, Heather Settings etc...) seems not to be working (no response).

I noticed that the same issue impacts the other JS features such as WooCommerce product's Quick Update.

This has a significant impact on our ability to maintain our e-commerce site working and I would like to request your urgent assistance.

We are using the latest WP & WooCommerce versions and php7.3

Display issue with the Cyrillic symbols

Hello,

As of yesterday I am using GoodStore v.5 on a online shop serving Bulgarian users. My website is set to Bulgarian language and most of the words in Cyrillic are being displayed without problems. Unfortunately some of the pages (My Cart, Checkout) are displayed with strange symbols.

I made sure the encoding is set to UTF-8 in the wp-config.php . I also tried to switch WP to English and then back to Bulgarian but without success.

The most confusing part is that most of the Cyrillic content is displayed without any issues.

Would you please check on this?

Checkout page appears in small resolution

Hello,

I am running your theme on 2 of my sites. Unfortunately in one of them I am facing a display issue on the checkout page. For some unknown reason it is displayed as on a mobile - columns are really tight and fields are not displayed correctly (see the below image).

I guess the issue is related to the resolution of the page or its related configuration. When trying to work in developer mode in Google Chrome I found out that if I change the size of the column 2 in the template-wide-min.css ( wp-content/themes/goodstore/css) to bigger than the 225 px the issue is gone. Unfortunately when I apply the change in the real code it does not seem to work... This is the piece of code I am referring to

Can you please check and let me know what the issue might be related to?

Unable to access back-end dashboard (WP-admin) after logging in as administrator

Hi there,

Would you be able to assist me on this please? I'm using Goodstore Theme for years.

I'm not sure what happened, suddenly today I'm unable to access the back-end dashboard thru the wp-admin.

This is after I have managed to log in successfully as admin account.

After successful login in, the website will redirect me back to the homepage and when I tried to access wp-admin, it say "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page."

I have a client that uses the Good Store Theme and currently they are on
version 4.5. Their WordPress version is 5.2.4

Inside the WordPress back-end for their site I notice they no longer
have access to RevoComposer page editor. It is not installed under
plugins and I don't see it on the page edit screen. I want to purchase
support for my client's template through Theme Forest but before I do I
have a few question:

1. Is RevoComposer a tool created by JawTemplates?

2. Is RevoComposer still supported and compatible with the latest
version of WordPress 5.2.4?

3. In the RevoComposer settings, can Guttenburg and the Classic
WordPress editor be disabled so that the default page editor is always
RevoComposer?

4. Is the Good Store Theme compatible with other page editors such as WP
Bakery Pager Builder (Visual Composer)?
