On the web this shows the page normal... and good...

On the phone and tablet it only shows 1 cart...

Is there a way to have both 2 carts to show? It only shows when you tilt the phone Horizontal way.

Hello,

I am using FlyingNewsVersion 3 and I it enjoy very much.
My actuell
wordpress-version is 4.9.8

Unfortenately
my host is phasing out PHP version 5.6 until 24.10.2018 and replacing it with
PHP 7.2.

So I did a
test with the plugin "PHP Compatibility Checker".

The result
was 2 warnings and 20 errors.

Is it
possibile to update soon, so I can use this very good theme further in the
future?

When creating a post in Flyingnews, the system adds some weird gibberish text that seems to be generated by the system automatically. It says: SaveSaveSaveSave in the front page display when looking at the post. No trace of it however in the actual post editing screen. Is it somehow hard-coded into the system ?

on my wordpress with all other themes the navigation is fast, just apply the theme FlyingNews slows down.
Each click takes minutes to change the page.

How can I fix the problem ? .... I just bought this theme and I hoped it would work!

Missing connection between Facebook social share button and Facebook wall

There's a +1 displaying on the Facebook button but readers don't get any sign on their Facebook wall that they've like the post on our site. Hi. What I loved about your theme is the option to integrate content with products.

I have loads of content and now developing products with Woocommerce. I don't see an option to have a custom sidebar show up when a visitor clicks on the products. In my other Woocommerce store there is a sorting widget, a cart and rating system. I want this sidebar on this site too but only on the pages where there are products. Is this possible?

I wanted to use SSL on the website and before it goes live I tested
it with https. Everything worked fine sofar exept that all shares /
likes are gone and are “0” on every page.

Listen.

I am a journalist and a blogger and I am not a coder.

I downloaded the theme and tried to install it and it says there is an error. I watched the video on how to fix it and tht is too much for me. I am witing a book on deadline and can not focus on doing all of that. All I want is for my theme to install correctly by itself so I can present at a meeting on Wednesday. If this can not happen tonight I want my money back so I can find a theme that installs without errors as soon as you try to use it.

Update Woocommerce 3.0 => missing product gallery functionality

Since the Woocommerce 3.0 update a few days ago (which contains major product gallery display improvements) Flyingnews product gallery images (as defined in each product page individually) in the shop (on the individual product pages) turn into large fullsize images in a separate window which totally kills the customer experience. Please help. Some more info below from Woocommerce.

This is what the people over at Woocommerce say about the problem :

As explained in the launch posts, 3.0 has a new gallery which default themes use, and other themes can *choose* to use. Themes need to declare support for this gallery using the following:

1. My site has about 20 blogposts and 5 pages. Actually, there are just 6 blogposts on the mainpage (visit http://www.kreditwuerdigkeit.de). 2. Some pictures in the slider are looking very bad.... which image size they have to be and where I can upload them?

3. I would like to move the slider more to the right side. Hi I bought this theme.everything is fine now but there is a big problem about google indexing. Normally I am using all in seo plugin for seo and I do home page title ,description and keyword setting on that plugin. But it is not working with your theme. I already tried yoast as well but it is same. Description is showing randomly.

I have lots of websites and I am using all in seo for all of them but my other websites are working correctly with all in seo. Please find a solution.

Footer not displaying on some pages

How do i remove the site logo from the top that is shown in the tab bar? Such as on this site you see a blue checkmark and on my site with this theme, I have a giant R?

Another thing that i'm curious about is limiting the amount of posts to show under the featured posts? Think it would be much better to show 6 than to show more than that.

How do you set up the twitter api to work with the site? The link that you give does not work and im curious if this is allowed because when I looked at it, it seems like you need to have a "app" to do it?

On the footer of the page, how to do you add more pages to it? I have about and contact but i would also like to add a advertise page as well.

Can you also give us the ad sizes that this theme has available? I'm looking to sell in the future directly to buyers.

Hello,

I do not seem to be able to find Rating Settings. I only find settings related to ratings under Theme Option > Blog and in Individuals posts. I am trying to make ratings the same for every posts.

Additionally, in the database, are the ratings recorded at the post level only or are they also recorded at the user level and/or membership level? I am wondering whether I could use some data analytics magic, so I am trying to get a sense of how granular the ratings are.

Is it possible to hide the Woocommerce mini-cart from the header section of the front page ? Already tried changing the 'where to show cart in header' to 'eCommerce' instead of 'Site' but that didn't remedy the issue. Instead of the mini-cart, we would like to show a banner header only on the front page and on the other pages of the site the mini-cart in the header. Could you offer a solution to this issue ? Hi, as I can see on your demo page, in the submenu there is picture and some kind of line frame over it. Could you please advise is it possbile with the menu included in the theme (in some themes it is possible through menu shotcodes like [column-picture], or it is just for show and another plugin is needed?

Hello. I purchased the FlyingNews theme and installed it on my WordPress site. But when I preview it to begin customizing, there are no options. There is only Site Identity, Menus, Widgets and Static Front Page options. I cannot place any banners, have no sidebar options, cannot change the header or move slider or anything.

I made sure to download the Wordpress only file and upload and still.

Hello! Great Template, I love the motion!

I am having a few problems customising it. Here's one:

On my homepage the content boxes are displaying some content in different colours that others (see attached image). Ecommerce posts display with different background colours, heading colours and category background colour than all other posts but I don't know why, is there a setting for this?

I have tried changing them to match the other posts using custom CSS but can't seem to find the correct CSS classes.

I have tried:

We've installed WPML but the WPML language selector isn't showing up. Strange: it is however showing up in the WP admin area in the WP admin menubar but once placed in one of the Flyingnews theme footers (as a language selector widget that comes with WPML), it is invisible. What could be wrong ?

The slider feature (with the sticky posts) always positions on the left side but we would like to have it on the right side. That way we can add our (text) widget on the left side of the slider instead of on the right side.

Demo data not imported fully

I have imported the demo data into my system, I got a confirmation the import was completed successfully, however in the system I can see that only some of the data was imported, namely only categories for blog posts. No pages, post or slides were imported.

I tried the import again but with the same result.

Can you please help how can import the full demo data?

Search text field moves far to the left on :focus (mobile devices)

Hello,

I've configured the search text field to be visible at all times by changing CSS according to the FAQ.

However on mobile devices (not when you resize your desktop browser, it only does on mobile devices) on :focus the field moves far to the left side so that you can't actually see it.

Can you please help?
